ABOUT OUR JEWELRY
What materials are used in The Karat Vault jewelry?
All of our jewelry is crafted with a 925 sterling silver or high-quality base and finished with 14K gold, rose gold, or white gold plating.
All pieces are nickel-free and lead-free, making them suitable for sensitive skin.
What stones do you use?
We primarily use high-quality Cubic Zirconia. Cubic zirconia is a diamond simulant made from zirconium dioxide and is designed to deliver a brilliant, diamond-like sparkle without the high price tag.
Is your jewelry hypoallergenic?
Yes. Our jewelry is nickel-free and lead-free, making it hypoallergenic and safe for everyday wear.
Can I wear my jewelry every day?
Yes. Our pieces are designed for everyday wear. However, to maintain their beauty and longevity, we recommend removing jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, or applying perfumes and lotions.

How should I care for my jewelry?
- Avoid contact with water, perfumes, lotions, and chemicals
- Store your jewelry in a dry, clean place
- Clean gently with a soft cloth after wearing
- Remove before sleeping, showering, or swimming
Proper care will significantly extend the lifespan of your jewelry.
ORDERS & PROCESSING
How long does order processing take?
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days after your order is placed.
Can I cancel my order?
If you need to cancel your order, please email info@thekaratvault.com within 2 hours of placing your order.
Once an order has entered processing, it can no longer be cancelled.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, we ship worldwide. If your country is not available at checkout, please contact info@thekaratvault.com.
What are the delivery times?
Estimated delivery time is 5–8 business days, depending on your location.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes. We offer free shipping on orders over €50.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes. All orders include tracking. You will receive your tracking number via email once your order has shipped.
TAXES & DUTIES
Will I have to pay customs or import taxes?
No. We ship DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). All duties and taxes are included in your purchase price. You will not be charged additional fees upon delivery.
EXCHANGES & RETURNS
Do you offer exchanges?
Yes. We offer a 30-day exchange policy from the date of delivery.
Items must be:
- Unworn
- In original packaging
- With all tags attached
- In resalable condition
If an item is found to be worn, it will be returned to you.
How do I request an exchange?
Please email info@thekaratvault.com within 30 days of receiving your order and include:
- Your order number
- The item you wish to exchange
- The colour/size or product you would like instead
We will provide you with the returns form and returns address.
Are there any exchange exclusions?
- Earrings (for hygiene reasons)
- Custom-made items
- Items marked Final Sale
Who pays for shipping?
Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
We will ship your replacement item free of charge.
Can I get a refund instead of an exchange?
Yes. You may return your item for a refund and place a new order separately.
WARRANTY
All The Karat Vault jewelry is covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects.
We also offer a 60-day accidental damage grace period.
If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will repair or replace the item free of charge. If repair or replacement is not possible, a refund or store credit will be issued.
Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Tarnishing from chemicals, perfumes, lotions, or water
- Misuse or improper care
- Lost items
- Third-party repairs
To submit a warranty claim, email info@thekaratvault.com with your order number and clear photos/videos.
DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS
If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact info@thekaratvault.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos so we can resolve this quickly.
